People who suffer from asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), coughing, wheezing, chest pain, or shortness of breath; those exposed to irritants (carpenters, painters, etc.); or smokers… All of these individuals can call the Maison de la santé to schedule an appointment for a lung assessment using spirometry and pulmonary function testing. In both cases, this is a simple, painless medical test that measures the volume of air and the speed at which you can exhale to assess the health of your lungs.
