CeGIDD consultations at the Maison de la santé

The French Red Cross's CeGIDD (Centre gratuit d'information, de dépistage et de diagnostic - free information, screening and diagnosis center) has opened a consultation unit at the Maison de la santé in Saint-Jean (JSB 1633). Consultations are free, confidential and open to all, with or without an appointment, and take place twice a month. They provide access to screening for HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and C, chlamydia and gonorrhea, a rapid test (Trod), oral contraception and the morning-after pill, support for abortion and PrEP (HIV preventive treatment).
Consultations are provided by a doctor and a nurse trained in sexual health.
