Cyrille Le Vély, new Prefect of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin

With the official transfer of the prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin to full status, a new prefect had to be appointed. While Vincent Berton, who has held the position of préfet délégué since March 28, 2022, could claim continuity through this appointment, the government preferred to renew the corps préfectoral. As a result, Cyrille Le Vely will have the honor of occupying the first position of full prefect on Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, as stipulated in the minutes of the Council of Ministers meeting held this morning, Wednesday January 15.

Since August 25, 2023, Cyrille le Vely has been General Secretary of the Bouches-du-Rhône Prefecture and Sub-Prefect of Marseille.

Vincent Berton has been appointed Prefect of Corrèze.
