Ceremony to mark the inauguration of the new prefect

Cyrille Le Vély, the new Prefect of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, will take office on Monday February 10. The following day, Tuesday 11th, the State representative in the Northern Isles will make his appointment official with a ceremony in front of the war memorial, opposite the Hôtel de la Collectivité territoriale. The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Prior to his appointment to Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, Cyrille Le Vély was Secretary General of the Bouches-du-Rhône Prefecture, reporting to the Prefect of Marseille. He becomes the first full prefect for the Northern Islands. He succeeds Vincent Berton, who has been appointed Prefect of Corrèze.
