Flooding after heavy rain

The heavy rains forecast by Météo France yesterday afternoon finally fell on Saint-Barthélemy in the evening. The heavy rainfall caused flooding in several districts of the island, including Grand Fond. On the morning of Monday November 18, the Collectivité's technical services and the Arc company intervened to open the blocked drainage channel. Once this operation was completed, the rainwater was able to flow into the sea. As the road is still partially flooded, traffic remains difficult, and users are advised to exercise caution when driving on this road.
