Fatal accident in Saint-Jean

The tragedy occurred before dawn on Sunday, February 8. At around 5:30 a.m., a 26-year-old man riding a scooter died in a road accident on the descent to Rocher Vert in Saint-Jean Carénage. The exact circumstances of the accident have not yet been officially determined. It appears that no other vehicle was involved in the accident. The victim had been working at an establishment on the island for several years. There had been no fatal accidents on the roads of Saint Barthélemy in 2025.
