Anti-drugs operation in Lurin

The Office anti-stupéfiants carried out an operation on the morning of Monday March 31 in Saint-Barthélemy. More specifically, in the Lurin district. The operation was swift and targeted, as part of an investigation conducted in both Saint-Barth and Saint-Martin. Three people were arrested, and almost thirteen kilos of narcotics, money, vehicles and a sailboat were seized. The suspected criminals were involved in circular trafficking between France, Colombia, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy. The case is being handled by the specialized inter-regional criminal court in Fort-de-France (Martinique). Thirteen investigators and some forty military personnel from the national gendarmerie's intervention units, the nautical brigade, dog teams and customs coastguards were mobilized in Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin for the operation.
