Three arrests for drug trafficking

The first was during an intervention in the parking lot near the ferry terminal. Two men aged around 25 were involved in a transaction involving cannabis and cocaine. In sufficient quantity for the notion of trafficking to be retained, explains the gendarmerie. The two men were placed in police custody, while the investigation carried out by the military enabled the identification of customers, potential recipients of the seized drugs. The two men arrested have since been released. They will be summoned to appear in court... at the end of 2026.
Last week, a plainclothes gendarme noticed a suspicious exchange between two American tourists and a third man, leading him to believe that a drug transaction was underway. He alerted his colleagues, who intervened. The gendarmes observed a cocaine transaction. The seller, aged around twenty, was arrested. He will be summoned to appear in court in early 2026.
