Coral reef health assessed by ATE

As it does every year, the Agence Territoriale de l'Environnement carried out an assessment of the coral reef's state of health. Accompanied by Florian Labadie from Créocean, Clément Bonnardel from the Réserve naturelle de Saint-Martin and Jean-Claude Lalanne from the Réserve naturelle de Petite-Terre, ATE staff visited the reefs at the Bœuf, Colombier and Pointe-Milou sites. The Bonhomme and Petit Cul-de-Sac seagrass beds also received a diagnosis. According to ATE, this regular monitoring shows "changes in the state of health of the sites", such as fish, coral, seagrass and lambis populations.
