This Monday, January 13 at 6 p.m. on the terrace of the Agence territoriale de l'environnement (former weather station) at Fort Gustaf, on the site of the lighthouse, the ATE is organizing a conference on the theme of Saint-Barthélemy's coastal dynamics. An opportunity to listen to and exchange views with Anaïs Coulon, an ATE member and PhD student specializing in the study of the island's coastline.
After a presentation of her work on coastal monitoring, she will propose solutions adapted to local issues, to encourage the appropriate management of our beaches and coastlines.
In addition, ATE is currently monitoring beaches using a drone.
The conference will be attended by Tony Rey and Stéphanie Defossez of Montpellier's Paul Valéry University.
