This Wednesday evening, from 6 p.m., Gustavia's Anglican Church will be transformed into a theater for an evening of concerts and readings on the theme of birds. The event will be hosted by Allain Bougrain Dubourg, President of the French League for the Protection of Birds, who will alternate between reading recited texts and sung or purely instrumental musical works. He will be accompanied by musicians from OM Diffusion and the Chapelle Harmonique team, who will be presenting the baroque instruments of viola da gamba, baroque violin, flute and harpsichord from 5pm.
The concert will be followed at 6:30 pm by a debate on biodiversity in the presence of Sébastien Gréaux, President of the Agence territoriale de l'environnement, and Jean-Jacques Rigaud, President of the Saint-Barth bird protection association.
The event is open to all.
