Saur replaces water meters

On Monday July 7, Saur began an operation to replace all the island's water meters. Saur has announced that this gradual operation will take several months to complete.

The current meters will be replaced by new-generation ultrasonic water meters, connected via the LoRaWAN network," explains a press release. This technology enables more accurate, faster and more reliable remote reading of water consumption, while facilitating the detection of leaks or anomalies."

Saur points out that the work will be carried out without interrupting water distribution and will not require any intervention on the part of residents. "The agents appointed by the company will be identifiable and will comply with the safety protocols in force," stresses Saur, which writes, for the attention of users: "We are counting on your understanding and cooperation during this period of modernization, which aims to improve the quality of drinking water service on our territory."
