CEM elections: many candidates seeking information

On Monday February 10, an information meeting was held at the Chambre économique multiprofessionnelle (CEM) with a view to the forthcoming elections. The purpose of the meeting was to answer questions from potential candidates wishing to become elected members of the CEM. Thierry Gréaux, CEM General Manager, was assured that some thirty candidates had attended. Thierry Gréaux introduced participants to CEM's history, organization and missions. He then focused on the upcoming elections on April 12, 2025, highlighting the eligibility conditions to be met: registration on the electoral list, two years' experience and compliance with CFAE regulations.Elected members of the CEM are ambassadors for the companies and players in the CEM," reminded Thierry Gréaux. It is necessary to respect the principles of neutrality and defense of the general interest. "Participants then enjoyed a more informal exchange over a cocktail reception. "It's likely that at least two, if not three, lists will be put forward for these elections," enthuses the General Manager. As a reminder, candidatures must be submitted between March 3 and 12, with posting scheduled for March 13.
