A successful opening for the exhibition at the Wall House

In the history of the Wall House Territorial Museum, few openings have been as successful as the one on Saturday, February 28. The public turned out in large numbers for the opening of the magnificent exhibition entitled "Between these folded walls: utopia," featuring works by artists Sarah Cooper and Nina Gorfer. This was to the great satisfaction of museum director Charles Moreau, but also and above all to Sarah Cooper and the Swedish representatives of Fotografiska and members of the St Barth Ile d'Art association, who worked closely with the museum to "put together" this exhibition.

The works depict young women and their often forced migration stories, glorifying them like mythological heroines. The artistic work of Sarah Cooper and Nina Gorfer invites reflection that is at once political, poetic, and humanistic. It is a look at the suffering of migration, but also at hope and utopia.
On display at the Wall House until April 18.
