A seven-family game Saint-Barth

No, we're not talking about a card game featuring the Magras, the Lédées, the Brins, the Questels, the Querrards, the Berniers or the Gréaux. Nevertheless, it is a game of seven families dedicated to Saint-Barthélemy that will be the subject of an exhibition at the Wall House Museum between April 16 and 30. The Culture Committee, chaired by Bettina Cointre, has been working on a deck of cards on the theme of Saint-Barth's heritage, and the exhibition will coincide with the sale of the deck. We decided to hold an exhibition on this game, which highlights different aspects of our heritage," explains the second vice-president of the Collectivité territoriale. The illustrations were created by Guillaume Blanchard, who also created the statue erected on the Tourmente traffic circle. "The artist arrived on the island on Wednesday April 9 for a two-week stay. He will be visiting schools and the Mireille Choisy junior high school to present his work as an artist and run drawing workshops.
