Arthur Brouwers is now 13 years old. He is well known in Saint-Barth for playing himself in the TV series "Arthur Autour du Monde" broadcast by Gulli, TV5 Monde and YouTube (Arthur Autour du Monde). He has also introduced Saint-Barth's children to the way their parents and grandparents lived before the island became a fashionable tourist destination, with the album published by the Collectivité "Arthur explores Saint-Barth's past". Arthur is a frequent visitor to the island, where he loves to spend time with his two cats, Baba and Lynx. One day, while researching a theme for a writing assignment, he came up with the idea of telling a story in which his cats were the main characters. Baba bet Lynx a million croquettes that he'd be able to circumnavigate the globe in 80 days. Setting off from Saint-Barth, Baba slips into the hold of planes, gets invited onto a private jet, meets a gang of cats in New York, ends up on a TV show in Tokyo, and so on. Through Baba's adventures, Arthur recounts his own discoveries during his travels. To illustrate his texts, he has drawn his cat and integrated it into photos of the main sites. Arthur will be signing his book at La Case aux livres on April 9 from 4 to 5 pm.
