“Retro Si Tol” this Friday evening on the waterfront

The seventh edition of “Retro Si Tol” returns this Friday, May 8, for a Caribbean and international-themed evening on the Quai Général de Gaulle, organized by the Ti Ouana Salsa association. An evening dedicated to “retro” Caribbean music as part of their tour dubbed “Fashion Week.” Starting at 6 p.m., Zouk, Soca, Ragga, Salsa, Kompa, Hip-Hop, “old school” R&B, Dance, and Gwo ka will be featured on the program, with hits from the 1980s to the 2000s. DJ Ross and Alan will be on the decks for the first set, followed by DJ Halan and DJ Mike starting at 8 p.m. The concert is free, and a bar will be available to the public. Appropriate attire is recommended—Fashion Week (classy, colorful, and stylish)—but by no means required to come and dance the night away on the quays of Gustavia.
