Saint-Barth - Théâtre du Paradis

“Our Warmest Regards” at the Théâtre du Paradis

After taking its audience on board the “Paradise Boat,” “No to Money,” and “Redoutables,” the SB Artists association presents “Our Most Sincere Friendships,” a play by Nouritza Emmanuelian. Directed by Nadège Emmanuelian, the play stars Malo Julien, Romain Vinsot, Samantha Vettraino, and Sandrine Mortier.
Since childhood, Cyril and Damien have dreamed of becoming great writers. But the years have passed, and today everything sets them apart: Cyril is a renowned author, while Damien keeps getting rejected by publishers. By their sides, their partners observe, endure, support… or discreetly stoke the tensions. Marta fiercely protects her couple’s social status, while Fanny finally dreams of a life greater than the one she’s always been promised. When a simple favor upsets the balance of a friendship, buried frustrations gradually rise to the surface. How far are we really willing to go to help our friends succeed? Amid absurd rivalries, manipulation, misunderstandings, and settling of scores, *Nos amitiés les plus sincères* is a fierce and exhilarating black comedy about friendship, success… and the difficulty of accepting others’ success.
“Nos amitiés les plus sincères” will be performed five times at the Théâtre du Paradis in Gustavia. The first performance takes place on Thursday, May 21, at 8 p.m.
Online reservations available on the theater festival website (festivaldetheatredesaintbarthelemy.com). Price: 18 euros.
