She had been announcing it for months. This Friday, April 25, marks the release of Stella's first EP. Available on some fifty music platforms, including all the most popular ones, this "EP" consists of five tracks. Four in French and one in English. "But not all the tracks will be released at the same time," warns the artist. Stella has been working on this first release for years, but the recordings began in July 2024. "After meeting musicians from the Saint-B'Art Jazz Festival," she confides. She recorded her creations with Ralph Lavital on guitar and Yoann Danier on percussion (and production), mainly in Paris. Some compositions are more dated than others," she smiles. I called this EP 'transition' because, afterwards, I'll move on to other things. "The five tracks on offer are all very different from one another. Variety, pop, soul, acoustic, the genre and rhythms also vary. They reflect the facets we have inside us," explains Stella. They're very mixed, no doubt thanks to the musicians who were able to embellish the tracks. I talk about human relationships, my feelings, my experiences, but also what I observe. We all experience the same things, but in different ways. It's a mixture of all that. "She adds, as if in confidence: "Sometimes it's also a bit dreamlike. With things that I can't say in life, but that I can express in song. "
The first track the public can access on the platforms is entitled "Pleine de doutes".
