The Pineapple Girls kick off the carnival!

It's getting serious! This Saturday, February 7, the Pineapple Girls association invites the public to join its "Opening Carnival Caribbean Roots Edition" party on the steps of the Territorial Collectivity building. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and is expected to end around midnight. The Pineapple Girls will be performing, of course, but there will also be five DJs: Eyedol, Matthias, Maestro, Speyenol, and Big Boss.

At the same time, as they have done every week since January 17, the carnival committee and The Youngz association will parade through the streets of Gustavia. The meeting point and time remain the same: the Pif-Paf kiosk at 8 p.m. This week's theme is red, yellow, and green.
