Les héritiers at Théâtre du Paradis

"As soon as they arrived at the widow's house, after the customary words and airs of circumstance, they settled in and, little by little, made themselves at home. Then they appraise, haggle and finally steal everything. They're disgusting, filthy and unscrupulous, but they're within their rights: they're the heirs. Against the backdrop of a real social theme (inheritance and concubinage), the author, in recounting a veritable organized plundering, paints a scathing picture of the family, dissected with humor, cynicism and causticity. It hurts, but it makes you laugh. "This is the summary of Alain Krief's play "Les héritiers", which will be performed eight times at the Théâtre du Paradis in April.
The play is directed by Nadège Emmanuelian, and the sets are by Véronique Vandenhende and Jérémy Martin. On stage, Bruno Gerbaud, Cloé Dévaluez, Romain Vinsot, Samantha Vettraino, Véronique Vandenhende and Virginie Arnaise will play the characters in a wryly funny comedy about a coveted inheritance.
