The fifth edition of the Artists’ Fair, held at the Wall House Regional Museum, is drawing to a close. This Saturday, October 17, the winners in the three categories (graphic arts, photography, and sculpture) will be announced during a ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m., surrounded by the fifty or so works on display at the 2026 edition.
Nearly 350 votes were cast throughout the duration of the Exhibition. After all, it is the visitors—that is, the public—who determine the winners through their votes. However, the evening will not be limited to simply announcing the Exhibition’s winners.
In fact, the local government is taking advantage of the event to organize a Local Artists’ Day—or, more accurately, a late-afternoon gathering.
Conversation with the Artists
After the Salon results are announced, the Multiprofessional Economic Chamber (CEM) plans to open “a new chapter” in its CEM Art initiative with “Art Conversations.” An online post states: “Conceived as a time for meeting, sharing, and exchange, this evening will bring together the island’s artists and professionals from the art and creative worlds around a common goal: to support, promote, and foster the development of the island’s artistic practices.” ” Thus, until 9:00 p.m., the floor will be given to the artists who participated in the Salon des Artistes. “An event to foster dialogue among talented individuals, share experiences, build connections, and encourage new perspectives for Saint Barthélemy’s arts sector,” emphasizes the CEM.
