The Heritage Days Program

Three days of tours and festivities. Starting this Friday, September 18, and running through Sunday, the Heritage Days program will center on the themes of photography and endangered heritage that must be “revitalized, preserved, and reimagined.”
This Friday will be dedicated to school tours of the Territorial Collectivity’s architectural heritage for elementary school students, as well as meetings with students from Mireille Choisy Middle School to discuss Miguel Berry’s book *Saint-Barth, Architecture of a Heritage*.
On Saturday, starting at 4:00 p.m., a culinary fair will take place on the plaza in front of the Wall House Territorial Museum. Local cuisine will take center stage. Activities and booths will be available to visitors on themes related to the island’s heritage and traditions. To participate in the culinary fair, you can register by email through the Territorial Collectivity’s communications department (communication@
comstbarth.fr).
At 6 p.m., visitors are invited to take part in a moment of sharing and camaraderie during which they can recount a memory of Saint Barthélemy, share an anecdote, ask questions, or simply enjoy the stories shared by other participants.
At 8:00 p.m., still on the Wall House plaza, the band Les Romantiques will perform a concert.
Sunday’s event will start earlier. At 8:30 a.m., Angélique Questel-Beal will lead a walking tour to explore Gustavia’s heritage. The walk will depart from the Arawak restaurant. Participants are advised to bring a bottle of water and walking shoes.
