On Saturday, January 10, the forecourt of the Wall House Territorial Museum will host the second edition of the B'Art Y Show. Created and organized by Marie Leblondel and Julien Carrasco, this event aims to promote art in all its forms and raise awareness of the island's artists. But that's not all. Workshops and activities will be offered for children starting at 2 p.m. In addition, the event has a charitable dimension. Julien explains: "This year, the proceeds will be donated to the parent-teacher associations of several schools on the island: the Gustavia middle school, the Lorient school, and the Saint-Jean mini school. This will help them finance school trips." A partner from the very beginning, the rugby school will also benefit from the funds raised throughout the day, mainly at the refreshment stand.
"The hardest thing in Saint Barth is to reach as many people as possible," says Julien. "That's why we wanted a wide-ranging musical program, for all audiences. " Rock, soul, Caribbean, Latin, and house music will be on offer. Bob Sinclar will be the guest of honor, having graciously agreed to participate in this festive charity event. All the artists will be doing the same.
During the afternoon, children will be able to enjoy various games on the forecourt of the Wall House, a face-painting workshop, and another workshop where they can express their creativity by creating a mural that could be exhibited afterwards.
"Our approach is above all to offer something new in the island's calendar of events," emphasize Marie and Julien.
