Handi-Color on April 12!

As it does every year, the Handi-Relais association is preparing to organize its main event: Handi Color. This is its main public event, as it goes without saying that the association's professionals and volunteers are primarily occupied with the work they do throughout the year and supporting people with disabilities. Nevertheless, Handi Color has now established itself as one of the island's must-see events. Because it is festive, inclusive, and raises funds to help Handi-Relais finance its projects.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 12. However, registration will begin on March 15 during a garage sale to be held at the Super U in Saint-Jean. For those wishing to participate in this event, other dates will be announced so that they can register. Don't delay, because after the success of 2025, registration will be limited to 600 participants.
For the modest sum of ten euros, registrants will receive a pair of colored glasses and a bag of colored powder. Walkers, pushers, and runners wearing white T-shirts will then be able to scatter the powder along the six-kilometer route that will take them from the Saint-Jean stadium to Gustavia (after a lap around the Saint-Jean lagoon and a passage through La Tourmente) before returning to the stadium for breakfast.
While many participants are expected, and hoped for, Handi-Relais is already calling on kind souls to help out. "As we can never have enough helping hands," writes the association, "if you would like to volunteer for this colorful event, please don't hesitate to contact us!"
