In an online publication, the Public association has announced that it will no longer be holding its neighborhood party scheduled for tomorrow, Friday August 15, and Saturday on the forecourt of the Hôtel de la Collectivité and the Wall House Museum. "As a precautionary measure, and in light of the elements listed below, the A.S.P. is forced to postpone the Fête de Public scheduled for August 15 and 16," the publication states. The organizers list the reasons for this decision: "Uncertainty of the phenomenon's trajectory, probability of heavy showers, thunderstorms, wind and cyclonic swell as the storm passes, risk of transport difficulties for the artists scheduled to perform. As a result, the diving association will not be able to offer introductory courses over the two days, and pleasure and professional fishermen who have put their boats on dry land will not be able to take part in the bottom fishing competition."He adds: "Like you, we were ready to celebrate and share a good time, but we have to be cautious in the face of Mother Nature. We would like to thank all our sponsors, donors, partners and anonymous donors."
The association assures that a new date "will be communicated at a later date".
