Book lovers are invited to gather this Sunday, May 3, on Quai du Général de Gaulle in Gustavia. As it does every year, the Saint-B’Art association is hosting its now-traditional book fair from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Under the awnings, hundreds of books will be displayed on stalls. Novels, essays, comic books, history books, travel guides, and books on every imaginable topic will be available to visitors. The concept of the book fair is simple: just help yourself! This is made possible thanks to books previously dropped off at CCPF Appliances in Public by people who wish to part with their books or simply share them with other readers on the island. You can still drop off books at CCPF Appliances until this Saturday, May 2, at noon.
At the same time, a children’s corner will allow the little ones to gather and enjoy some reading and relaxation. Local authors will also be present, invited by the Saint-B’Art association to showcase their work.
Contest Awards Ceremony

This year’s theme was “an island, from here or elsewhere.” The short stories have been published over the past several weeks in each edition of the Journal de Saint-Barth. The latest, titled “Medical Evacuation,” is available at
