Saint-Barth - petite toque

Gourmet Festival: the Petites Toques designate their star

Wearing a white toque on top of her expertly composed hair, she took off her shoes and strolled barefoot along the Quai Rockefeller waterfront. Just another way to celebrate a victory. Thanks to her "Doudou d'amour", which is none other than a revisited Tourment d'amour, Stella Solé Luu won the Petites Toques competition organized by the CTTSB on Saturday November 8 in Gustavia as part of the Saint-Barth Gourmet Festival. The fifteen or so young participants had to present a coconut-based dessert to the four chefs on the jury. In this "little game", it was Stella who best delighted the taste buds of the culinary maestros. Six years old, the little girl smiles broadly and explains: "My parents helped me a little. What I like about cakes is that once you've made them, you can eat them! Well, it's mostly Mum who eats them. "A last remark that made both Céline, her mom, and Didier, her dad, smile. Parents who welcomed with joy and pride the victory of their little star, crowned pastry queen.
