Space Gallery at Carré d'Or is exhibiting works by contemporary American artist Jason Bereswill until June 10. Known for his vibrant landscape paintings that immerse the viewer in the color, light and energy of nature's most powerful settings. "Jason Bereswill fell in love with the island of St Barth on his first landing in 2005 and has been painting its landscapes for the past 20 years," notes gallery director Natalie Clifford. While the paintings in this Falling for St Barth exhibition are set against a staged bluff made up of various elements of the island. Bringing them to life in a darkly humorous arrangement of vacation blunders, the falls underscore the ambition and folly of the human animal on an island where dizzying heights and epic falls are equally possible.
