From January 16 to 22, as part of the Nuit de la lecture (Night of Reading), the island's schools and college will be hosting shows and workshops led by Anne-Gaël Gauducheau, storyteller and artistic director of the Compagnie de La Lune Rousse. She will be accompanied by Ludovic Hellet, double bass player. In addition to the program offered in schools for secondary school pupils, a show open to all will be held this Saturday at the Théâtre du Paradis in Gustavia: "Jules Verne et autres histoires étranges".
The show will immerse the audience in a captivating universe where storytelling blends harmoniously with music. All this thanks to an actress-storyteller and a double bass player. "This musical tale explores the great classics of literature with a unique touch, offering an intense, poetic and funny moment," states the presentation.
Performance: this Saturday, January 18 at 4 p.m. (duration: one hour) at the Théâtre du Paradis in Gustavia. Open to all, free of charge and no reservations required. Please note, however, that places are limited.
