Sunday December 22 marks the grand finale of the Christmas Village set up at La Pointe by the Comité du Tourisme. Santa Claus will make a final appearance from 4 to 6 p.m. for a photo session with the children. From 7 to 9 p.m., the Bande à Nono will perform a Chanté Nwel before the Jolly Boys continue with their own Christmas carols. From 5 to 8 p.m., a Christmas cookie decorating workshop will be held in the Village.
Christmas accessory competition
As on Friday, the CTTSB is inviting the public to take part in the contest for the most beautiful Christmas accessory. All you have to do is come to the Village with an accessory. "A Village elf will be there to immortalize your visit with a photo and validate your entry," explains the BSTTC. These photos will then be published as a permanent "story" on the Committee's Instagram account. The photo with the most "likes" will earn the accessory holder a prize from the Comité du Tourisme. Votes will be open until 3pm on December 23. "On the morning of December 25, the magic of Christmas will reveal the name of the winner on our Instagram account", says the CTTSB.
