Movies: “Fallen from the Sky” at the Ajoe

The feature film “Tombé du ciel,” directed by Mohamed Hamidi and starring Ilyes Djadel and Josiane Balasko, which was released in theaters in France on August 12, will be screened this Friday, September 11, at 7:50 p.m. at the Ajoe.
Starring Hugh Jackman, Jodie Comer, and Bill Skarsgård.
Synopsis: “Ilyes leads a happy life in the suburbs of Roubaix. The only problem: the high school graduation exam. After failing twice, this is his last chance to pass and finally make his parents proud. But a fire breaks out during the practice exam, and he is accused of starting it… Expelled from his high school, he must leave his neighborhood and attend the only school that will accept him: the Catholic boarding school of Saint-Albert-le-Grand, in Burgundy. Caught between a culture clash and a quest for redemption, Ilyes will have to overcome his own prejudices… and those of others…”
