This Saturday, it's Night Day

This Saturday, October 12, the Agence territoriale de l'environnement is organizing the "Le jour de la nuit" event. This local event is part of a nationwide campaign now in its 16th year. The aim of Night Day is to raise awareness of the consequences of light pollution and reconnect people with "nightlife and its wonders", writes ATE.
As every year, a rich program is offered to the public in the evening, on the site of Fort Gustav III, under the Gustavia lighthouse. At 7 p.m., stories on the theme of the night will be read, while participants will be offered a nocturnal tour of Fort Gustav III. To discover the nocturnal fauna, you must be at least seven years old and accompanied by an adult. Reservations are also required, by telephone (0590278818).
From 7 pm to 9:30 pm, Jordan Blanchard (Astro photographies Saint-Barth) will offer a sky and star observation.
