“Superwoman” is the title of Caroline A. Rivas’s third album. Released on September 12, it features nine tracks in which the artist opens up with great sincerity. This Friday, October 30, at 7:30 p.m., Caroline Rivas will perform in concert at the Anglican Church in Gustavia. It’s an opportunity to discover her latest work in the uniquely atmospheric setting of this place of worship.
Through the album’s nine tracks, Caroline A. Rivas tackles subjects that resonate with many life experiences. Toxic relationships, codependency, emotional wounds, healing, perspectives on society, and spirituality: each track explores a different facet of her world.
The album’s title track, “Superwoman,” explores the desire to shoulder everything, sometimes at one’s own expense. Spirituality, which plays an important role in Caroline A. Rivas’s world, also runs throughout the album. “Un ange passe” questions the survival of the soul after death, while other tracks take a broader look at time, existence, and the experiences that shape a life.
Artistic Independence
The project began in September 2025 with Ti Lina Prod in Saint-Barthélemy, where Caroline A. Rivas recorded the piano, vocals, and backing vocals. Production then continued in Italy with her arranger, before concluding with a mastering session in Hungary. This creative process also illustrates how artists today can build their projects by bringing together different talents across borders.
It’s worth noting that, as with her two previous albums, Caroline A. Rivas chose to self-produce in order to maintain her artistic independence.
“Superwoman” is available on streaming platforms. And to see and hear the artist, head to the Anglican Church this Friday at 7:30 p.m. Admission and donations are welcome.
