The Wall House Territorial Museum opens a new exhibition this Saturday, November 2. Opening at 6.30pm, visitors will be able to view 58 original photographs by the artist, all dating from the 1970s and 1980s. "Produced mainly with Polaroids, they allow us to plunge into the visual intimacy of the Pop Art master and discover his creative process," sums up museum director Charles Moreau, who adds: "And travel back in time to New York and Paris in the glory days between disco and punk. "The photographs include still lifes, portraits, landscapes and snapshots, representing a lesser-known part of the work of this multi-talented artist. All the works have been loaned to the Wall House by Jim Hedges, an American collector specializing in Warhol's photographic work.
The opening, open to all, will take place this Saturday at the museum from 6.30pm. The exhibition can be viewed free of charge until January 11, during the museum's opening hours: Tuesdays from 2 to 7 p.m., Wednesdays to Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2 to 7 p.m.
