Saint-Barth -

13th Art Party at Hotel Le Christopher

For the thirteenth time, the Hôtel Le Christopher is hosting the annual Artists of Saint-Barth Art Party. For this edition, the 25th of its kind, nineteen artists who live or regularly reside on the island will have three to five of their works exhibited between 7 and 10 pm. As usual, the event is open to all. We had a great turnout last year," recalls Emmanuel Leprince of Artists of Saint-Barth. It was evenly split between locals and visitors. "The public is expected to turn out in force.
For this year's event, the association and the hotel have come up with a special lighting scheme. Not only to facilitate observation of the works, of course, but also to create an atmosphere conducive to conviviality. All the guest artists are inspired by Saint-Barthélemy," says Emmanuel Leprince. If we manage to showcase them, it will also be an asset for tourism. On average, we sell one work every two days. It's proof that there's a demand. With the Art Party, we're offering the kind of experience you'd expect to find in Saint-Barth. "The aim is also to extend the event to local culture. But for that, explains Emmanuel Leprince, "there's still work to be done".
For Olivier Leroy, director of the Christopher, hosting such an event is not anecdotal. It complements our commitment, since opening fifteen years ago, to welcoming local residents," he asserts. The owners of the Christopher have never excluded locals from enjoying the establishment. This approach is the same for the Green Globe. For us, it's essential. In both high and low season. "
Emmanuel Leprince insists on the involvement of local partners (Wimco and Tradewind) in the organization of the event. "In addition to locals and visitors, it attracts another audience," he says.

Throughout the evening, the musical ambience will be provided by a DJ, while stalls offering tastings and refreshments will be available to participants.
