Aid for disaster victims in Mayotte

At the request of the Senator for Saint-Barthélemy, Micheline Jacques, the President of the Collectivité territoriale, Xavier Lédée, will submit to the Executive Council a proposal to release 200,000 euros to help disaster victims in Mayotte. The elected members of the Executive Council will meet tomorrow morning, Wednesday, at the Hôtel de la Collectivité. The Mayotte archipelago was devastated by the passage of cyclone Chido on Saturday December 14. As of Tuesday, the provisional death toll from the Ministry of the Interior stood at 22, with a further 1,373 injured.
