The creation of new territorial services on the agenda this Thursday

As last week, eight items are on the agenda for this year's territorial council. The first three concern human resources, while the others relate to administrative matters. The meeting will open with an update of the terms and conditions governing the allocation and use of benefits in kind granted to territorial personnel. It is proposed to add a rental value to housing used by local authority employees. The next two items concern changes to jobs and departments, and therefore to the organization chart of the local authority's territorial services. For example, it is proposed to vote on the creation of an Associative Life Department and an Economic Department. In administrative matters, elected representatives will be asked to vote on an amendment to the service delegation contract awarded to Ouanalao Environnement. The purpose of this amendment is to allow the company to install a shredder storage building in Public to resolve the problem of dust emissions for the neighborhood. The fifth item on the agenda is the extension of the management and housing agreement between the local authority and the hospital. The sixth item concerns approval of the cab fare schedule. In the penultimate item, the elected representatives will deliberate on updating the CEM's bylaws, before finally agreeing on the actions to be included in the roadmap of Saint-Barthélemy's territorial COP, such as the introduction of a shuttle service between Saint-Jean and Gustavia.
