Rotary Club collects schoolbags and kits for the community

Until July 4, the Rotary Club of Saint-Barthélemy, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Saint-Martin-Nord, organized a major collection of school bags and kits. Thanks to the mobilization of volunteers and the generosity of the island's inhabitants, the event was a resounding success.
In a warm, friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere, the Rotarians sorted, checked and carefully boxed up the many donations received," says Axelle Cappelli, President. There was a wonderful collective energy throughout the operation, testifying to the spirit of solidarity that drives our community. "In particular, the Rotary Club would like to express its sincere thanks to all the schools on the island who agreed to relay the initiative, and to all the participants who contributed to this wonderful project. "Thanks to you, many children will be able to start the new school year with school supplies in good condition and a little more lightness in their satchels", adds Axelle Cappelli.
The Rotary Club of Saint-Barthélemy is proud of this inter-club collaboration and the outpouring of generosity it has generated. And the president of the club also extends "a huge thank you" to Ti Colis, the company responsible for transporting the donations to Saint-Martin.
