Every year, the Collectivité provides substantial support to the island's organizations and associations. In the form of subsidies, endowments, contributions and other participations. In 2025, this financial support will total 6.324 million euros. The dossier was presented and voted on at the Territorial Council meeting on Thursday March 27.
Having already received an advance of 515,000 euros, the Comité du Tourisme will receive 1.3 million euros in subsidies. The Island Nature Experiences association will receive 65,000 euros, the Apag (farmers' association) 10,000 euros and Tropik FM 8,000 euros. A further 66,500 euros will be allocated to scholarships for off-island athletes and students.
Schools
1.124 million is allocated to the school sector. The two largest subsidies go to the Ogec (Catholic education management organization) for Sainte-Marie school (462,280 euros, plus 24,934 for daycare) and Saint-Joseph school (455,920, plus 13,320 euros for daycare). The Amicale de l'école primaire de Gustavia will receive 52,390 euros, the Amicale de l'école Sainte-Marie 8,156 euros. The Saint-Joseph school parents' association will receive 50,800 euros, the Sainte-Marie school parents' association 29,904 euros and the Mireille Choisy middle school parents' association 50,800 euros.
Social sector
124,800 euros in total grants. 30,600 for early childhood (25,000 to the Emma association, 3,100 to Papouille et Mamour and 2,500 to Baby Chou), 94,200 for humanitarian aid and solidarity. This includes 83,000 euros for Sessad-Coralita, 10,200 euros for France-Victime (in addition to the annual subsidy already paid of 11,800 euros) and 1,000 euros for the association En sécurité sur la route.
Environment sector
2,000 euros for Coral Shepherd.
Economic sector
18,300 euros for the Comité des pêches et de l'aquaculture.
Sports sector
Of the 341,400 euros in subsidies, Ajoe is obviously the organization that will receive the highest amount, with 77,500 euros. Next in line are the Saint-Barth Yacht Club (34,200), the Saint-Barth Tennis club (32,000), the Saint-Barth Multihulls (30,000), the Comité de basket des Iles du Nord (25.000), the Barracudas club (18,000) and its rugby school (15,500), Ascco (15,000), Karibbean Beach Tennis (12,000) and Saint-Barth Jujitsu (11,400).
Under the 10,000 euro mark are the Mireille Choisy secondary school sports association (8,300), Caribbean Karate Oyama (5,200), Comité départemental de pétanque des Iles du Nord (9.000), Flèches de Saint-Barth (6,300) and Francs Archers (8,500), Judo Club (6,500), Ouanalao Beach Club (4,500), Pelican's basketball club (8,700), Saint-Barth Echecs (4,700), Sub Loisirs Sportifs (4,000) and Saint-Barth Triathlon (5,100).
Art, culture and heritage
580,640 euros are allocated to this section. The Music Festival and SB Jam will each receive 100,000 euros. Other grants will go to SB Artists (70,000 euros), Saint-B'Art (55,000), Galop des îles (38,000), Comité du Carnaval (25,000) and Domaine Félicité (25,000). Ciné Saint-Barth, Ti Ouana Salsa and Miss Saint-Barth will each receive 20,000 euros. Next in line are Ajoe (9,400), ALC (8,500), l'association de sauvegarde de Public (12,000), ASCCO (10,500), la Chorale des bons chœurs (13,000), la Pointe en mouvement (7,000), OM Violon (6.500) and OM Diffusion (1,000), Papouille et Mamour (1,240), the Pineapple Girls (6,500), Saint-Barth Harmony (11,000), Tet Ansamm (10,500), The Youngz (6,500) and the Fédération des anciens combattants (4,000).
The Société Nautique de Sauvetage en Mer (SNSM) will receive 20,000 euros.
Public institutions and organizations
The Agence territoriale de l'environnement (ATE) will receive 900,000 euros and the Chambre économique multiprofessionnelle (Cem) 1.353 million euros. The Collège Mireille Choisy will receive 50,000 euros for investments, 170,000 euros for operations and 100,000 euros for the apprenticeship center. Finally, the Conseil économique, social, culturel et environnemental (CESCE) will receive 89,000 euros in 2025.
